Primary Lead Teacher

About Shannon

Shannon comes to the Concord Montessori School with over twelve years of experience teaching toddlers and pre-schoolers - ten of them in a Montessori environment. She feels so lucky to have discovered the Montessori method early on in her career, as it has shaped not only her teaching philosophy and practice but also many other aspects of her life. Dr. Montessori worked to uphold the dignity of children worldwide by emphasizing the education of the whole child, and the necessity of respecting each child's unique emerging personality. Shannon's goal is to work with fellow educators to create a space that truly supports independence, nourishes the curiosity, and respects the dignity of each child.
