Pre-Primary Assistant Teacher
I began my journey in early education about 20 years ago, receiving my teaching certificate through Fisher College and continuing my education at UMass Amherst, as well as obtaining my Child Development Associate license through an online program.
Throughout those years, I have held many roles, from volunteer, to co-teacher and lead teacher, all within traditional childcare settings.
What I most enjoy is seeing the progress the children make from their first day in my classroom to the day they transition to the next level. I am so honored to be a part of their growth and development and witness the many milestones they experience during my time with them. I take great pride in being sure that each child in my care is respected, valued and always feels safe.
Aside from my passion for working in early education, I also work closely with a non profit organization that is very near and dear to me. “It’s my heart New England” advocates for and supports families whose children have congenital heart disease. I began my time with them as the secretary and now serve as a volunteer, participating in as many local events that I can throughout the year.
I look forward to my experience here at Concord Montessori.
